SowWindow provides browser-based planning tools and supporting gardening information. Use the outputs as an editable aid to your own decisions. The calculations describe the inputs and rules used; they do not promise that a crop will germinate, survive, mature, or produce a particular harvest.

What the tools provide
The tools calculate planting dates, repeat-sowing batches, geometric planting positions, and seed estimates. They also support local plans and file exports. They do not inspect your garden, obtain a weather forecast for you, or assess a plant’s condition.
A suggested date depends on its source and your entered dates. A layout depends on the chosen shape, dimensions, spacing, and boundary rules. A seed estimate depends on the rates and reserve you enter. Review these assumptions before using an output to make a purchase or perform a task.
Check local suitability
Growing references can be specific to a region, method, variety, or harvest stage. Read their conditions and use relevant local guidance when deciding whether a task is suitable. An automatically calculated date is not a declaration that the weather, soil, or plants are ready.
SowWindow does not provide plant-disease diagnosis, pesticide instructions, food-safety advice, or individual professional consultation. Do not treat a general planning page as a substitute for advice needed for those questions.
Keep your records
You are responsible for the values and notes you enter and for keeping copies you need. Local browser storage can become unavailable or be cleared. There is no account-based recovery service or automatic cloud backup in this release.
Before replacing or deleting a plan, review the target record and keep a JSON backup if you may need it. Downloads and imported calendar events are separate copies; manage them in the application or location where you saved them.
Sources and content
External links identify reference material. Their publishers are responsible for their own pages, and a link does not imply endorsement of SowWindow or of a value you later edit. Refer to the original source for its full context and any rights that apply to its material.
The site’s short factual references and original explanations do not grant permission to reproduce third-party articles, tables, images, or software. Keep attribution with a reference when you use it to explain your own plan.
Changes and availability
Features and reference data can be revised. Saved plans retain their recorded assumptions so an earlier result remains understandable; review changes before applying new values to old work. Keep portable backups rather than relying on uninterrupted availability of one browser session or website.
