Keep regional dates regional
The source chart describes sowing through a regional midsummer endpoint and separately discusses storage carrots. That month-and-day guidance is not converted into an automatic first-frost offset. The end-date field remains a required planning choice for this option.
A sequence using your own end date
For an illustrative start of April 1, 2027 and a user end date of May 31, a twenty-one-day interval produces April 1, April 22 and May 13. The next occurrence is beyond the chosen end and is excluded. These inputs demonstrate the arithmetic, not a local planting recommendation.
Reserve rows and establishment time
Keep each carrot sowing in an identified row or section so later work does not disturb emerging seedlings. The spacing preset describes the final thinned stand; carry its target count into seed quantity with your own establishment assumptions.
Questions growers ask
Why not calculate a cutoff from days to maturity?
That would require a reviewed variety-specific maturity model and a defined harvest target. This dataset does not silently turn a general maturity figure into a universal autumn deadline.
Sources and conditions
These sources describe particular climates and growing methods. Use the conditions alongside the numbers.
General intervals under standard growing practices. Crop purpose and protected-cover exceptions matter; these are not harvest guarantees.
Carrot direct-sowing method and root-disturbance caution. Regional calendar dates are not turned into global frost offsets.
